Mara Mossman, of Monroeville, stars as Alma Stossel, Mossman recently appeared as Polly Garter in .Under Milkweed. at BGSU Firelands and as Ado Annie in The Bellevue Society for the Arts fall production of OKLAHOMA. Many members from the 2004 cast return to honor this heartfelt Christmas production; David Riegel, Bellevue, returns as Peter Stossel while Jeff Buchanan, Gibsonburg, returns to anchor the show as grandfather Gus. Samantha Trapp, Bellevue, portrays Martha while Shaun Hopton, Bellevue, who played young Karl in 2004 now returns to play older Karl for the 2008 production. Bob Ammanniti, Bellevue, returns as Steve and Justin See, Bellevue, returns as Rudy. Vince Famulare, Bellevue, is double cast as Hans and the wacky policeman.
Children in the cast include Dylan Duskin, Fremont, as young Karl Stossel and Emma Smith, Green Springs, as Mary Claire Daugherty. Jim Andrews, Bellevue, returns to the SCHOONER sailing crew with new cast members, Joe Morsher, and Sam Wagner (both of Bellevue). Women in the ensemble include Deb Wyss, Clyde, as Kate, Tracey Newsome, Clyde, as Enid and Cathy Barclay, Bellevue, as Olive. Heather Blair, Nikki Slosser, Marie Swartz, Chelsea Jenkins, Nicole Ammanitti, and Mary Musser, all of Bellevue, complete the cast. Cindy Franks, Bellevue, makes a cameo appearance much to the delight of all.
